Hygienic Coving

Stainless Steel Hygienic Coving for Food Processing Plants

Our stainless steel hygienic coving and wall protection systems are engineered to meet the strictest requirements of the food industry, especially meat and dairy plants. These elements ensure easy cleaning and create a hygienic, seamless wall-to-floor connection.

Hygienic Coving and Corner Guards – reliable building protection

We use AISI 304 stainless steel as standard, with AISI 316 available on request for superior impact and corrosion resistance in aggressive production environments while maintaining top hygiene standards.

Double Stainless Steel Coving

  • Features integrated reinforcements and pre-drilled fixing points.
  • Supplied in modular form for easy adaptation to any room layout.
  • Custom designs available on request.

Single-Sided Clip-On Coving

  • Quick and easy installation on existing walls, significantly reducing assembly time.
  • Can be filled with concrete after installation; cut-outs can be prepared, welded and finished neatly.
  • Available in modular and custom versions.

Single-Sided Stainless Steel Coving

  • Designed to protect lower wall sections from mechanical damage caused by trolleys, containers and pallet trucks.
  • Adheres closely to existing walls for fast installation, especially along external building walls.
  • Available in modular and custom executions.

Custom Hygienic Coving

  • Manufactured according to client drawings, dimensions or technical specifications.
  • Fully customizable: height, geometry, material thickness, fixing method and reinforcements.
  • Ideal for non-standard architecture, special hygiene requirements or high-impact zones.
  • Produced from premium stainless steel ensuring durability and aesthetics.

Every coving system can be configured to match specific project needs. Custom solutions are delivered on request, guaranteeing perfect fit and maximum functionality in any industrial facility.

Frequently asked questions

How do stainless steel coving differ from ceramic baseboards?

Stainless steel coving provide complete watertightness and high impact resistance, while ceramic tiles crack under mechanical load. Stainless steel offers a smooth, non-reactive surface that is easier to clean and fully HACCP compliant. In food and pharmaceutical industries, stainless coving are the standard; ceramic is suitable only for low-demand areas.

Which stainless steel coving do you recommend for food plants?

We recommend radius coving (curved transition between wall and floor) to facilitate cleaning and eliminate bacterial traps. Standard height: 100-150 mm. Material: AISI 304 (V2A) for most applications; AISI 316L (V4A) for acidic or salty environments. All models hold PZH food-contact approval.

What sizes of stainless steel coving are available?

Standard heights: 80, 100, 120, 150 mm. Segment lengths: 1000, 2000, 3000 mm – joined by overlapping or on-site welding. Sheet thickness: 1.0-1.5 mm depending on load requirements. Custom sizes available from technical drawings.

Do you supply only stainless steel coving or also installation?

We specialize in manufacturing stainless steel hygienic coving and supply complete elements with technical documentation. Installation is carried out through certified partners in Poland and Germany. For large projects we coordinate design, production and on-site execution.

Do your coving have food-contact approval?

Yes. AISI 304 (1.4301) and AISI 316L (1.4404) stainless steel used in our coving holds PZH food-contact approval. EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are available on request.

How to clean stainless steel coving in food production?

Daily: rinse with water. Weekly: clean with alkaline detergent (pH 9-11). Avoid strong acids (pH < 4) and chlorine-based products to prevent pitting corrosion. Wipe dry after cleaning. The cove radius eliminates hard-to-reach areas.
